Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
- 2 lb chuck roast, sliced into thin 1 inch strips
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 Tb butter
- 4 green onions
- 4 Tb flour
- 1 can condensed beef broth
- 1 tsp prepared mustard
- 6 oz mushrooms
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup white wine
- egg noodles
Directions:
- Brown beef in butter.
- Add onions (white parts only, reserve green parts for garnish).
- Add flour and stir.
- Add broth and bring to boil while stirring.
- Reduce heat to low and add mustard. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
- Saute mushrooms.
- 5 min before serving, add mushrooms, sour cream, and white wine. Heat through and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over noodles.
