Mongolian Beef Noodles


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 4 Tb light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 6 Tb hoisin sauce
  • 1.5 cups beef broth
  • 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red chili flakes
  • 2 Tb cornstarch
  • 2 green onions
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions:

  1. Saute ground beef. Add garlic & saute 30 seconds. Drain grease.
  2. Add ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisin, broth, vinegar, and pepper flakes.
  3. Make slurry with cornstarch and cold water. Pour over beef mixture and stir thoroughly.
  4. Cook until thickened, ~3 min. Stir in cooked spaghetti and cook 2 min more.
