Mongolian Beef Noodles
Ingredients:
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 8 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp ginger
- 4 Tb light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 6 Tb hoisin sauce
- 1.5 cups beef broth
- 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp crushed red chili flakes
- 2 Tb cornstarch
- 2 green onions
- 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
Directions:
- Saute ground beef. Add garlic & saute 30 seconds. Drain grease.
- Add ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisin, broth, vinegar, and pepper flakes.
- Make slurry with cornstarch and cold water. Pour over beef mixture and stir thoroughly.
- Cook until thickened, ~3 min. Stir in cooked spaghetti and cook 2 min more.
