African Cabbage Stew with Ground Beef

Ingredients:

1 small cabbage
1 red bell pepper
2 lbs. ground beef
1 onion
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 Tb olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup tomato sauce
1 tsp bouillon powder (I used 1 cube Maggi)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp thyme

Directions:

Add oil, beef, salt, & pepper to pot. Brown meat thoroughly.
Add onions and pepper. Cook until tender, 10 min.
Add garlic & spices. Cook 1 min.
Add cabbage and tomato sauce. Mix and bring to boil.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
